Founded in 2021, Trigo Solar is developing agri-voltaic solutions for rainfed crops, such as wheat, maze, soy beans and peanuts. Trigo Solar shareholders include Meshek Energy LTD, one of Israel's leading solar develop- and Elmor Renewable Energy LTD- Israel's largest solar EPC company.
Our team
Doron is a co-founder of Trigo Solar. Born in Kibbutz Hatzerim - the birthplace of Netafim, Doron brings rich agricultural and water management background. For the past 30 years Doron designed, executed and managed complex agro-industrial centers in various locations around the globe.
Asaf joined Trigo Solar in 2022 as the Director of Business Development. Asaf brings more than 20 years experience in business development of energy-related ventures and technologies. Asaf is a registered lawyer and lives in LA.
Avi is a co-founder of Trigo Solar. Prior to founding Trigo Solar, Avi founded and managed a large EPC in Israel. Avi brings more than three decades of engineering experience for multi-national companies, including Intel Electronics, General Electric and LR Group. Avi lives in a Moshav in the center of Israel.
Idan joined Trigo Solar in 2021 as the Field Trials Manager. Prior to joining Trigo and for the past 30 years, Idan was a lead agronomist for the North Negev Farms association. Idan bring valuable experience in rainfed crops.
Israel is a co-founder of Trigo Solar. Prior to founding Trigo Solar, Israel founded several start-up companies in the fields of medical imaging and image manipulation. Israel hold a PhD in physics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem. and is the author and co-author of more than 30 patents in various fields.
Noam joined Trigo Solar in 2023 as the Operation Manager. Prior to Joining Trigo Solar and for the past 30 years, Noam managed and executed complex multi-disciplinary operations related to agriculturcal activities around the world.
